How to Import the BIG-IP-F5 in EVE-NG
In this lab, first go to the BIG-IP F5 website for a 30 day trial version and create an account. The url: https://f5.com/trials/big-ip-virtual-edition. The compatible image for EVE-NG will be the BIG-IP VE image; I used BIGIP-17.1.0-0.0.16.LTM.qcow2.zip. Accept the license agreement and proceed as follows:
- Download image .zip file
- Extract image BIGIP-17.1.0-0.0.16.qcow2
- Go to EVE-NG CLI
- mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/bigip-17.1.0-0.0.16
- Open Filezilla
- On the remote panel –> /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/bigip-17.1.0-0.0.16
- From the local panel drag-and-drop BIGIP-17.1.0-0.0.16.qcow2 image
- Rename image to virtioa.qcow2
- Run /opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions
