How to Configure ESXi 6.5 Management Network
Once the ESXi-6.5 boots to the main screen, press F2 to enter configuration mode, but you will have to enter your password you created during creating the boot drive.
IPv6 can also be disabled:

You can enable remote access to the ESXi Shell and SSH by selecting the Troubleshooting Options:
They are both disabled by default. Now, you can SSH into ESXi-6.5
The best practice is if you are not doing administrative task, disable ESXi Shell access.
Finally, set the DNS and re-name host name:
The host name change is now reflected below:
Now, it’s time to access vSphere-6.5 through the browser, for my locate IP address 192.168.12.53.
